It’s so good to be back.
Offline League of Legends can’t be beat, and after three years of patiently waiting, LCO fans finally had their ravenous appetite sated at Margaret Court Arena.
Pundits had assured fans to settle in for a long evening with a potential of five games on the cards.
But the hour long tech delay was almost as long as the series itself, as Pentanet reaffirmed their intentions to qualify for Worlds with a 3-0 dispatch of Order.
In what was Order’s last series in the LCO–and in esports as a whole–the team failed to find a groove in the opening two maps, with Mark “Praedyth” Lewis named MVP in last night’s sweep.
Pentanet now go headlong into Championship Sunday, where they face the greatest challenge of Split 2: attempting to wrangle a win off the unstoppable Chiefs.
The Chiefs, meanwhile, are strong favourites to name OCE’s slot at the Worlds Play-In, and should they sweep Pentanet, will go totally undefeated across the entire split.

LCO 2022 Split 2 Rosters
Split 2 sees widespread changes to our LCO crews.
MSI representatives Order saw a change in the jungle following Shane “Kevy” Allen’s departure to North America, picking up Jeong “Goodo” Min-jae from Dire Wolves.
While Kevy departs, Vincent “Violet” Wong returns from Golden Guardians Academy and will take up the starting bot lane position at Peace alongside the squad’s former coach Vincent “gunkrab” Lin.
Other teams saw a mixed bag of changes; Dire Wolves will feature four new members of the Wolf Pack, while Pentanet will start Split 2 exactly as they ended.
