Hero Xpulse 4V Rally Edition could be the flagship model in the range. The standard model will also get an update along with a rally kit…

Arguably, the Hero Xpulse 200 4V is one of the best off-road centric entry level ADVs in our country. This bike is highly capable of taking the challenge to many adventure and off-road machines which sit on higher segments in our market.

And as we had predicted, Hero is getting ready to launch the 2022 Xpulse 4V in the market. But wait a minute… there is more to this leak, much more…!

Aside the standard model, there is a Rally Kit version also coming. The Rally Kit is already on offer on the 2V version. And if that does not put a smile on your face, there will be altogether a new Rally Edition on offer.

New Type-Approval Document Leak – Reveals Details About 3 New Xpulse 4V Editions

  • The most important information the leaked document reveals is that the Xpulse 200 4V Rally Edition will be launched as a separate variant.
  • It is highly probable this Rally Edition could be the most premium trim of the lot.
  • Additionally, some parts and accessories that will make up the Rally Edition could be offered as optional accessories for the standard bike.
  • Majorly, the Rally Edition variant will retain the mechanical components of the standard Xpulse 200 4V.
  • This means it will be powered by the existing 199.6 cc, single-cylinder, oil-cooled engine which currently produces 18.9 HP and 17.35 Nm of torque. Can we expect some bump in these numbers for this variant?

  • New Wheelbase1427 mm – 17 mm more than standard.
  • New Overall Width – 850 mm – remains unchanged.
  • New Overall Length – 2255 mm – 33 mm more than standard.
  • New Overall Height – 1320 mm – 62 mm more than standard.
  • This new height number means that the Rally Edition will have a total suspension travel of nearly 230 mm, compared to standard 170 mm in front.

On the other hand, Rally Kit is expected to be offered as a bouquet of separate parts like it is the case with the 2V version.

The updated Xpulse is likely to get the new headlamp that we inadvertently got revealed by the company itself, a few days back. The launch details are yet to be known but it will certainly be here before the start of the upcoming festive season. It will be interesting to see what premium will Hero charge for all these variants.

The standard Hero Xpulse 200 4V, for reference, is currently offered at Rs. 1.32 Lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
