Toss report: Pakistan won the toss in the third T20I and opted to bat first.
The series is currently tied 1-1 after Zimbabwe pulled off a spectacular win in the 2nd T20I where they beat the visitors by 19 runs. The winner of this game will clinch the series and Pakistanis after being grounded in the last game will play with an additional pressure to win the series.
The pitch for third game is no different that the one used in last game. There is a nice blend of grass and there are crack as well which will help the seamers. The batters will need to spend some time in the middle to get going.
Pakistan captain Babar Azam won the toss and opted to bat first. He said at the toss, “We will bat first. It’s a dry wicket, we will try to score as much as possible. We have three changes today. We need to strengthen our batting because that’s where we have struggled.”
Zimbabwe captain Sean Williams said he was happy batting second as the team’s initial plan.
He said, “It’s good to be back, I am feeling very good. Hopefully, I can make some difference today. It’s a good opportunity to win the series against a top-quality side. We want to continue playing good cricket. Catching and diving stops in the field, just need to follow basics. I was going to bowl first today. We have made one change.”
