MEN’S TRACK AND FIELD

The men’s team is looking to grab the elusive title after finishing as runner-up the previous three seasons in the outdoor championships. They are poised to do so this season after impressive fall and winter campaigns. The men’s cross country team took home the NEC title this fall. The team is also coming off of a big performance at their home Blue Devil Invite last weekend, where the Blue Devils scored a meet-best 172 points as a team. CCSU also returns one of last year’s Outstanding Performers, senior Miles Fye-Moore.

WOMEN’S TRACK AND FIELD

CCSU women’s track and field is looking for its second title in three seasons this weekend. The Blue Devils took home the title in 2019 before finishing fourth at last year’s championships. Perhaps an even more impressive milestone that is on the table this weekend is the yearly sweep; CCSU won the cross country championship and put on an impressive performance at the indoor championship earlier this year which led to another title, this one a tie with FDU. The women’s side also returns an Outstanding Performer from last year’s Championships, senior Angie Rafter.
