The Central Connecticut women’s swimming and diving team competed at day two of the Blue Devil Invite at the Jack Suydam Natatorium on Saturday. The Blue Devils have 374 points as a team and are in third in the team standings.

TOP PERFORMANCES
- 3-Meter Diving – Freshman Zoe Baker placed second, scoring 226.65 in the finals. Classmate Elyse Boothroyd placed fifth with a score of 192.5.
- 200 Yard Medley Relay – CCSU’s ‘A’ relay of juniors Hallie Perrin, Alex Lindgren, Jeannette King and freshman Ashley Calderon claimed second in the night’s first event, turning in a time of 1:48.73. The team of junior Katie Czulewicz and freshmen Cassidy Stotler, Julia Pitchell and Kelly Stotler also scored and clocked a time of 1:51.85.
- 400 Yard IM – Freshman Morgan O’Hara was Central’s top finisher, turning in a time of 4:46.15 in the ‘B’ Final.
- 100 Yard Fly – Calderon clocked a time of 59.17 in the ‘A’ Final, while Cassidy Stotler finished in 59.04 in the ‘B’ Final.
- 200 Yard Free – Czulewicz and sophomore Shannon Welcome placed third and fourth, respectively. Czulewicz finished in 1:55.22, narrowly edging Welcome at 1:55.84.
- 100 Yard Breast – Cassidy Stotler turned in a time of 1:06.86 to place fourth, just ahead of Lindgren who clocked in at 1:06.97.
- 100 Yard Back – Perrin swam in the ‘B’ Final and turned in a time of 1:00.98 to lead the Blue Devils in the event.
- 100 Yard IM – Lindgren swam in the ‘A’ Final and finished in 1:02.92, while junior Kaylin McMahon (1:04.18), junior Simona Visinski (1:04.86) and freshman Wynter Berube (1:08.13) all swam the ‘B’ Final.
- 800 Yard Free Relay – The relay of Welcome, King, Kelly Stotler and Czulewicz placed third with a time of 7:53.15. The relay of O’Hara, Calderon, Visinski and freshman Abbey Keane placed seventh with a time of 8:11.30 in the night’s final event.
