So, recently the lesser-known Italian motorcycle brand – Moto Morini – announced their arrival on our shores by officially sharing 2 of their motorcycles on the official Indian website – Seiemmezzo roadster & X-Cape ADV.
Now, the Chinese-owned brand have made it official that they will be bringing 2 more models into our Indian market – X-Cape 650X & Seiemmezzo 6 ½ Scrambler – totalling their offerings to 4.
Moto Morini Officially Announces 4 Motorcycles For India
Moto Morini will be entering the Indian market in partnership with Adishwar Auto – the very same company that facilitates Benelli and the new Keeway brand in India. Expect to see the Moto Morini bikes sharing the showroom floors with Benelli & Keeway offerings very soon.
The X-Cape 650 & X-Cape 650 X Adventure-tourers will be the new competitors in our middleweight adventure-tourer segment, and will directly rival the newly introduced Kawasaki Versys 650, Triumph Tiger Sport 660 and the Suzuki V-Strom 650XT.
The X-Cape twins are powered by a 649 cc, parallel-twin, liquid-cooled motor that produces 6- HP at 8,250 RPM and 54 Nm of torque at 7,000 RPM. Suspension on the twins is a fully adjustable 50 mm Marzocchi USD fork at the front, and a preload and damping adjustable KYB Monoshock at the rear. Both feature a 7-inch TFT display, LED headlight, Pirelli Scorpion Rally STR tyres and Brembo brakes with Dual Channel ABS.
On the other hand, the Seiemmezzo 6 ½ Retro Street and the Seiemmezzo 6 ½ Scrambler uses a 649 cc, parallel-twin, liquid-cooled engine that produces 55 HP at 8,250 RPM and 54 Nm at 7,000 RPM.
The Seiemmezzo twins feature a round LED headlight, a 5-inch TFT screen, a 43 mm USD fork at the front combined with a Monoshock at the rear, 170 mm ground clearance, a 15.5-litre fuel tank, dual-channel ABS, and a seat height of 795 mm.
There is no official launch date for these bikes as of now. However, expect the announcement of these bikes before the start of the festive season.
