Asante Kotoko is set to lose key defender Ibrahim Imoro at the end of the season, Ghanasportsonline.com can authoritatively confirm.
Imoro, 21, has scored twice in 20 league appearances for the Porcupine Warriors in the ongoing 2020/21 Ghana Premier League season.
The English-based representative of the left-back has been able to secure a lucrative offer for the defender who has been capped once at senior level by Ghana.
Imoro replaced Jordan Ayew on the 70th minute mark during Ghana’s 3-1 triumph over Sao Tome and Principe in the 2021 AFCON qualifiers last month.
Though details of the offer still remain scanty Ghana Sports Online’s strong source believe the defender could be heading to a Nordic country to pursue his foreigner career.
Imoro joined Kotoko from Karela United FC and has won numerous individual accolades including a number of MVP Awards and Player of the Month Awards.
