WILLOW PARK – The No. 1-ranked Midland College men’s golf team won the Texas JuCo Triangular by six strokes at Squaw Creek Golf Club on Friday.
The Chaparrals shot 288-291—579 to beat McLennan Community College (585) and No. 9 Western Texas College (605).
Seth Campbell led MC by winning the medalist title with a 68-74—142 total, two shots ahead of four golfers who were tied for second, including teammates Aston Castillo and JT Pittman.
The Chaps next compete in the NJCAA Southwest Championship at The Rawls Course in Lubbock on Monday.
